LEARN ABOUT VACCINES
Web Resources and PCIC Allies
To combat the widespread misinformation on vaccine policy, the PCIC has compiled a list of our favorite websites on the subject. We believe that information is power, and that accurate information about our current vaccine schedule will leave parents confident that they are making the right choices for their children.
CDC Parent Resources for Vaccines: This is a deep and definitive compendium of research and policy on vaccination.
Vaxopedia: This website is run by a group of pediatricians, and provides responses to many of the concerns that they hear in their practices.

The Childrens' Hospital of Philadelphia: This hospital has played an important role in the development of many of our vaccines, and maintains a good and deep resource guide for parents.

Voices for Vaccines: This is a compendium of resources developed by pediatricians and other vaccine advocates. Their offerings are unique, and include an educational podcast and toolkits for talking to vaccine hesitant friends and family.
Gretchen LaSalle blog: Dr. LaSalle is a pediatrician from Spokane. Her book Let's Talk About Vaccines is an excellent parent resource, as well.
HPV Cancer Resources: This website is run by a cancer survivor from Seattle. Though it is not limited to vaccination, it has excellent resources on the HPV vaccine efficacy and safety.
